Rockville United Methodist Church & The Grove Street Music Project are sponsoring a Christian Rock Concert on June 23, 2018 at 7pm at Rockville United Methodist Church. The program will feature Crossing Jordan hosted by our own GSM youth praise & worship band. The concert is GSMs key fundraiser for 2018 and we’d love your support! Crossing Jordan (https://www.facebook.com/crossingjordanny/) is a contemporary/rock/worship band from Long Island New York. Although the band consists of 3 family members, Crossing Jordan has grown to become a group of 5 close friends who love the Lord. They use all of their gifts and talents for the glory of God; striving to reach lost hearts through the ministry of worship. They have had the opportunity to minister at multiple churches across Long Island, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, and have even appeared on national television.
RUMCs youth band, The Grove Street Music Project, is a youth praise band of approximately 14 youth ages 10 to 15 started in 2016. Since then they have had multiple concerts at RUMC, performed at weddings and regularly perform contemporary praise music during Worship.
